Surgery fridges in England remain full of unused flu vaccinations as fewer people are choosing to be immunised against influenza.
According to a report by the Royal College of General Practitioners, surgeries in England have thus far vaccinated 100 fewer patients per practice compared to the same period last year.
RCGP Chair Dr Maureen Baker called the figure ‘alarming’, and urged patients, especially those in at-risk groups, not to ‘shun’ flu vaccination.
