The UK’s National Institute for Health Research has produced a new infographic based on its assessment of a 2012-2013 measles outbreak in the Merseyside area of North East England.
They calculated that the overall cost of responding to the outbreak was £4.4 million pounds. However, the cost of providing the extra vaccinations necessary to protect 95% of the affected population would only have been £182,900.
Sorry. No data so far.
