Shingles vaccine effective but uptake falling (UK)

Public Health England has announced that since the introduction of a shingles vaccine in the UK, cases have fallen by a third. A report published in the Lancet Journal of Public Health reveals that about 17,000 GP visits for shingles had been avoided between 2013 and 2016. However, despite the success of the vaccination, uptake of Shingles Vaccination by those eligible has been falling.
