Could a "Universal flu vaccine" end the need for an annual jab?

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that a new “universal flu vaccine” is being developed which might “end the need for annual injections”.  The flu vaccine currently offered is developed each year according to the most dominant strains of flu circulating around the world.

Seek, the company behind the innovation, claim that “FLU-v has been developed to provide a single vaccination which is effective against all strains of flu virus, including pandemic strains”
